Which channels, and how each one sends.
Some channels take posts directly, some open once their platform approves Billboard Badger, and some have no way to post at all, so a draft is laid out for you to paste. Nothing is ever sent to an account you did not connect.
Sends directly 4
- A blog with RSSComingNothing. Each product gets a blog on billboardbadger.com with a feed, which a newsletter tool can read.
- BlueskyComingYour handle. You sign in on Bluesky and approve access there.
- MastodonComingYour instance's address. Some instances ask automated posts to set the bot flag, so check its rules.
- LinkedIn, your own profileComingReconnecting every 60 days, which is as long as LinkedIn allows. Company pages are not offered.
Sends once approved 3
- InstagramComingA professional account, business or creator. No Facebook Page is needed.
- Facebook PagesComingA Page you manage, chosen for each product.
- TikTokComingChoosing who can see each post, and whether comments, duets and stitches are on, as TikTok requires.
Sends with video 1
- YouTube ShortsLaterVideo, which arrives last, once one clip has been costed.
Draft and paste 5
- RedditComingPosting it yourself. Each draft names the subreddit's own rule on self promotion.
- Product HuntComingPosting it yourself, since Product Hunt has no way to create a launch.
- Hacker NewsComingPosting it yourself, since Hacker News has no way to post.
- SubstackComingPosting it yourself, since Substack has no way to post.
- XComingPosting it yourself. Sending through X costs money on every post, so it is never sent for you.
Replies, direct messages, likes and follows are never sent for anybody, on any channel.
