The short version
Billboard Badger is for marketing products the account holder owns or markets with permission. It must not depict identifiable people without consent, impersonate anybody, or claim what the product's site does not support.
Every platform's own rules apply as well. A breach can mean a paused account, removed content or a closed account.
This summary is here to be read. The clauses below are what actually binds. This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything made or sent, by the web app, by Autopilot and by a connected agent.
What must not be posted
- A picture of a real, identifiable person without their consent. Pictures are drawn with none in them, and an uploaded picture of a person needs a tick confirming consent.
- Anything that would impersonate another brand or person, or use another company's logo as the product's.
- Prices, discounts, health, financial or legal claims the product's site does not support. A draft that adds a number the site does not have waits for a person, even on Autopilot.
- Adult content, hate, harassment, or anything a platform's own rules forbid.
- The same post to many subreddits or many accounts at once.
The platforms' own rules
Each connected platform's rules apply on top of this policy, and keeping to them is the account holder's job: each subreddit's rules on self promotion, each Mastodon instance's rules on automated posting, the TikTok Community Guidelines, and the Meta Platform Terms for Instagram and Facebook.
The service itself
Do not probe, overload or work around a rate limit, reach the service other than through the web app and the MCP server, or resell it without written permission.
What happens
The Operator may pause sending, remove content, or suspend or close an account. Serious or ongoing breaches may be acted on first and explained after. Suspected misuse goes to hello@billboardbadger.com.
Ask, and the wording gets fixed rather than explained.
